I am a fifty year old grandmother of four, with four children. I have been unemployed since Feb.2,2010, My unemployment benefits have ran out and I am in a shelter that requires I get a job or I leave. I hear everyday on the news the recession is over, but it really is not looking that way to me job wise. I have been told that if a person with less inteligence, less expeirence, and younger than I was appling for the same job, they would hire the younger person. I have been told to wear wigs and girdels and makeup , just to clean toilets. I do not want you to think I hate young people quite the opposite, when my daughter got a job I was so happy I was beyond words. You have to realize it is harder for some one with two children to be homeless than one older person. That was the reasoning I had to accept. I think if they made a plea for there side I mean the younger generation that way they would get a better responce.
